A 3rd Floor Apartment (with Lift). Located next to Shaftsbury Avenue and, close to theatres and to Soho. There are numerous wine bars, cafes, restaurants and grocery stores etc on the doorstep. The landmark Edwardian building is built in Terracotta stone, in the rococo style, and looks like a turreted castle with each of the apartments having turreted windows. The apartment has been in the long term ownership of a public relations lady for some 20 years and has just been completely redecorated (July '98) and is very bright, full of charm, furnished with antiques and has Edwardian period features. It is a particularly large apartment with nice wide corridors. Very large older-style kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, extra wide large oven and hob, large double height fridge freezer, table and seating for 6. Stereo system including CD player, tape and radio with speakers also connected to Living room and Kitchen. Second bedroom smaller than first with double bed, large wardrobe, drawers. Bathroom (new suite and new tiling) with power shower. Also 2nd toilet with small wash basin next to second bedroom. Balcony with table and chairs and well tended plant boxes set behind the building at the end of the corridor, catching the afternoon sun. Therefore, there are no other residents passing your door and is particularly quiet and tranquil. Telephone is available with Credit Card deposit as security. Cost per call is 10p, per unit. In a quiet location amongst the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden and is very central.
